Description

The SG Model is for the player who wants a smooth, rich jazz tone, with no harshness. The material used for this mouthpiece is an unusually resonant acrylic. A brass ring is installed on the end of the shank to guard against splitting and to add mass. The baffle is low with a slight rollover; the chamber is medium-large, and the pure radial facing curve measures 48 on a standard mouthpiece gauge.

Like all of our mouthpieces, each SG model is hand faced at our office in New Orleans. The tone is quite even in all registers and there is no “built in” blowing resistance.

Our heavily engraved Eldorado ligature is included along with a sturdy mouthpiece cap.
